Ahoy, Steve!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Congratulations on booking your first voyage aboard Disney Cruise Line! I can feel your excitement through your question! Before you know it, January will be here and you'll be setting sail to paradise! You and your pirate crew will be amazed at all the fun in store each day of your cruise.
You asked a wonderful question! The main activities I'd recommend booking in advance for the younger buccaneers would be
Royal Court Royal Tea, magical makeovers at
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and complimentary tickets to Character Greetings such as the Princess Gathering. If you're traveling with smaller sea guppies, I recommend booking reservations for
"it's a small world" nursery! before setting sail, too!
All the fun programming for kids in the Youth Clubs onboard do not need to be reserved ahead of time. Once your kiddos are registered (either online or on the ship), they can participate in all the scheduled fun! The unforgettable Broadway-style shows, movies and entertainment onboard do not need reservations, either.
If your family is interested in exploring the different ports of call on incredible Port Adventures offered by Disney Cruise Line, I definitely suggest booking them ahead of time, too! My family and I love to explore the culture and beauty of each destination through Port Adventures.
Steve, I'm so excited for your inaugural voyage sailing the high seas with Captain Mickey! If you can think of any more questions before embarkation day, please come back and visit us again!
