My first cruise and I'm a single parent. I don't have the extra parent to "stand watch" of our "stuff" while we are in swimming. Can you tell me will I need cash while on Castaway Cay or can I charge things to my account on the ship? A

    Hi Susan!

Congratulations on your first cruise!  You'll be ruined for all other cruise lines...Disney is superior in service and luxury.  Get ready to get spoiled!

You sound like me...I always worry about our "stuff" while my family and I are at the beach, but it's different on Castaway Cay, and that's because we don't take cash with us.  Everything can be charged to your stateroom account with your Key to the World Card.  As for cameras, and things of that nature, you can always put your stuff on a beach chair and pull it up close to the water so you can keep an eye on it.  You won't have any issues.  Everyone is there to have a blast, and believe it or not, I've found that the tendency onboard among the guests is to watch out for each other.

I hope this helps.  Please let me know if I can answer anything else for you.  It's my pleasure!  Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel.  Have an awesome, magical sailing Susan!
