    This is my grandchildren's first cruise and what can I do to help the with the drill?

    Ahoy Sunday –

    We are so happy that you joined us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and congratulations to your grandchildren on their first cruise! Your sea pups will have an amazing experience on Disney Cruise Line in the fun youth clubs, the exciting pools and water slides, the first run movies and Broadway style shows. Sunday, please do not worry about the Compulsory Assembly Drill that is mandatory for all pirate guests onboard. Your sea pups should have time after they board to explore the ship, eat lunch, and visit their stateroom, but between 4-4:15PM there will be a short safety drill.  Instructions will be announced overhead and inside the cabins, and based on your assignment, your pirate crew will go to their muster stations for check in with the cast members. At that time, there will be a short presentation on how to put on the lifejackets. The entire drill is less than 15 minutes and is not stressful at all. After that, head up to the top deck for a Sail-Away Celebration with Mickey and the Gang! Sunday, your sea pups will love their first cruise, and it is so wonderful that you are taking them.
