    First cruise for our family! Fantasy! I know room service is free, but I have NO idea what appropriate gratuities would be. Do I pay the server each time, or pre-pay like the other tips? Thanks!

    I'm so excited to hear that it's your first cruise!  The Disney Fantasy no less...awesome choice...you'll be sooo spoiled by the unprecedented service, and all there is to see and do!  You'll be planning your next trip before you even finish your first one....guaranteed!

    I totally understand how you feel.  When I was on my first cruise, I had no idea what or how to tip.  Here are the Gratuities and Tipping guidelines suggested by Disney Cruise Line.  They make it super simple to follow.  I also believe that it's very reasonable.  In my opinion, the service that you receive on a Disney ship does not compare to any other cruise line. 

    You are welcome to call Disney Cruise Line at (800)951-3532 to prepay your gratuities.  It will definitely make planning your trip a lot easier.  On the evening before you disembark, you will receive small envelopes in your stateroom (delivered during turndown service)  You can either put cash in there, or do what I prefer, which is to go to Guest Services and have them charge the gratuities to your credit card on file.
