We are going on our first cruise ever next month (Disney Dream). I am trying to get organized and was wondering if the cruise will provide lanyards and the clear pouches to hold our i.d.? Do I need to purchase these before I go? Thanks for your help.

    Hi, Terri!

Yay!  I'm doing a little happy dance for your first cruise ever!! And it's aboard the Disney Dream? You know how to start off on the right foot, for sure!

As a mom of four, I feel like I should really be considered a group's tour guide, and staying organized is essential. The clear pouches on lanyards for your IDs and Keys to the World make a lot of sense, and they will not be provided for you. Therefore, if you want to keep up with your cards that way, you can look online or in a sporting goods or travel store for something like that.

As a veteran cruiser and a little bit of a fashionista, I have to pass along a tip for your family photos.  There are going to be tons of opportunities for great shots -- both from professional photographers or with your own camera. Therefore, make sure you take off those lanyards before making your pic! Believe me, it'll make for frame-able family photos if you're not distracted by something hanging from everyone's necks.

I hope that helps you plan, and best wishes as you embark on your exciting adventure. Bon voyage!
