First cruise was 12/2014.came from Disney on a bus. . Will be driving down the night before and staying at hotel in port canaveral that has a shuttle service to port. How do we get our lugge onto the boat this time?last time was done for us.

    Hi, Kristin!

Glad to hear that you'll be experiencing a different type of embarkation day for your next cruise this time around. Nothing beats the convenience of the Disney Cruise Line ground transfers from the Disney Resorts, but getting to the port to start your voyage by driving or by shuttle is easy too.

Shuttles can drop you off at the curbside loading/unloading area across the street from the port entrance. There will be porters ready to pick up your luggage from you in that area. Make sure that all your check-in luggage have the special Disney Cruise Line luggage tags already attached to them. This way, it will be visible to the porters and they'll be able to load them and take them away. Your luggage will be delivered to your stateroom that afternoon.

From that point, you'll need your identification documents since security will check these at the gate as you enter the port. Don't forget your day bag and any other essentials you'd like to carry on with you. You'll be going through security and up to the 2nd floor to the check-in area shortly after.

I hope this helps, Kristin. Captain Mickey is looking forward to seeing you and your crew again!
