Greetings, Miriam, and thank you for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel for help with your vacation. Christmastime at Walt Disney World Resort is so beautiful, it brings me to tears. The decorations are so extravagant everywhere you go, and the snow on Main Street, U.S.A. during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is out of this world!
As for the
Candlelight Processional, there are sadly no printed programs available. The event is audibly narrated in English by guest hosts (which are fabulous!). I’ve seen Anthony Mackie, who plays The Falcon in the Marvel Avengers movies, narrate as he adds in personal anecdotes, jokes and his great personality on the fly. It is hard to capture those candid moments in a written program, which is why I think they are not used. However, if you know a bit of sign language, there is an American Sign Language interpreter translating on stage during every performance so hearing-impaired Guests can enjoy the show.
If you are interested in making your Candlelight Processional experience more special, you can opt into the
Candlelight Dinner Package, which will allows your family to enjoy a festive, leisurely meal and have peace of mind that a priority seat is waiting for you so you won’t have to stand in line early! The Candlelight Processional seats are highly sought-after. Candlelight Dining Packages are available for breakfast, lunch and dinner, so it will fit your schedule, and you can enjoy a 3-course meal or full buffet (depending on which location you choose). Please check back to book the Candlelight Dining Package in 2017, as reservations will open up later this year. For more information, keep your eyes on the Disney Parks Blog, or call (407) WDW-DINE. I hope you have a magical holiday season! ~ Lindsey P.
