Hello! When first arriving at POFQ for check-in do I use my Magic Band for entry at the gate or stop at the guard station? Not used to driving but we are this trip. Thank you!!

    Hi Ellen!

I can tell you that driving is a convenient way to get around Walt Disney World Resort. Also, we happen to drive about 90% of the time!

When you arrive at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter, you will need to stop at the guard station. They will ask for your ID and check to ensure you are due to check in that day. After that encounter, you can just tap your MagicBands to gain entry.

As a Disney resort guest who has a car, there are some perks such as complimentary standard parking at Disney theme parks for the length of your Resort stay. When you check in, be sure to let the front desk cast member know that you have a car and they will present you with what you will need to enter the theme park parking lots.

Please let us know if you have additional questions. Have a magical vacation!
