Can you see the fireworks at all from the Wilderness Lodge?  What about the boat parade?

    Hello there Dawn!

Thanks so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!

I absolutely love Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort. If you happen to dine at Whispering Canyon Cafe for breakfast, be sure to ask to be in Cajun Chad's section and please tell him that Kirsten from Canada says "Hello!"

While there are no resort rooms with a guaranteed view of the Wishes fireworks, depending on the location of your room you may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of some of the larger 'bursts' up over the treetops. My last stay, I was in a Courtyard View Bunk Bed Room near the end of the hall on the south side (facing Magic Kingdom technically). We were able to see a few beautiful bursts over the resort and over the trees but certainly not an ideal viewing of the show. From the beach area or boat dock you may be able to see a few larger bursts as well but most are obstructed by the trees.

As for the parade of glimmering lights floating by on barges - better known as Disney's Electric Water Pageant - absolutely! This show is an absolute "must-see" if you're staying at Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort. Head on down to the resort's beach or boat dock before 9:30pm to watch the show pass by at approximately 9:35pm most evenings. Check with the Front Desk during check-in for the exact timing of shows.

If you have additional questions, please feel free to write me back. It would be my pleasure to assist you further Dawn!

Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World!
