I see fireworks will be starting October 1? What time will the show begin?

    Hi Laurie!

    Thanks for visiting planDisney!

I'm so happy to see you're planning a Walt Disney World Resort visit in October. What an amazing time it will be, as all four theme parks will be joining together to celebrate Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary! The World's Most Magical Celebration kicks off October 1, with special events, entertainment, and more. Some of the cool new things you'll be able to experience are:

I've checked the Theme Park Hours for the week of October 19, and it looks like Disney Enchantment will be showing at 8 PM each evening at Magic Kingdom Park and Harmonious will happen at 9:45 every night at Epcot. With amazing pyrotechnics, fantastic music, and special effects, these two new shows are going to be incredible.

Make sure to take a look down Main Street if you go see Disney Enchantment - for the first time, there will be immersive projection effects that extend all the way from Cinderella Castle down Main Street U.S.A.! I'm SO excited to see it in person. While I will definitely miss the Happily Ever After Nighttime Spectacular (which will be taking a final bow on September 29), I know that Disney has something just as magical in store for us with Disney Enchantment.

I hope this helps with your planning, and that you get an opportunity to enjoy the brand new fireworks shows during your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth!
