Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great question, Aimee!
No visit to the theme parks is complete without a nighttime spectacular! This is the most pixie dusted way to end a magical day at the Walt Disney World Resort.
The Force is indeed strong with
Star Wars: a Galactic Spectacular! Jedi, Wookies, droids, members of the First Order, rebels, and others all await with anticipation as night falls, and you will see that Guests start gathering in front of the the Chinese Theater close to show time. However, I have noticed that Guests start saving a spot around the hub in front of Cinderella Castle and around Main Street U.S.A. up to 2 hours before
Happily Ever After. This is truly an iconic fireworks show, and finding the exact spot you are looking for may be a little harder, especially if you wait until very close to show time. If you are visiting with kids and require a stroller or if you are bringing elderly Guests, then I highly recommend saving a spot early. This year we are visiting at Christmas time so I decided to make reservations for
Fireworks Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing. This way we can enjoy delicious desserts and secure priority viewing for Happily Ever After.
I hope this helps you while planning, Aimee! Thank you for sending another question our way.
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
