Can the fireworks be seen from the hotels on site, such as the Port Orleans Resort?

    Hi Erin,

Welcome to planDisney! I’m so excited you stopped by with one of my top Disney topics on your mind... Disney fireworks! I am absolutely obsessed with Disney fireworks. I mean, truly. Those shows light up more than just the sky. They light up my whole heart! So I totally get wanting to soak in those magical moments even when you're not inside the parks.

Erin, if you're staying at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside or French Quarter, the setting is absolutely dreamy and peaceful, but because of all the trees and how the resort is nestled along the river, you won't really get a clear view of the fireworks from Magic Kingdom or EPCOT. You might catch a flicker here and there, but it won’t be the full, magical picture.

If you’re hoping to catch fireworks from a resort, you might want to consider the resorts closer to Magic Kingdom. Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is such a vibe, and even if you don’t get a theme park view room, the views from the beach are unreal. They even pipe in the music so you can feel like you're right there in front of the castle. Another favorite is the Contemporary Resort, which is also Magic Kingdom adjacent, and on the monorail loop. Disney’s Contemporary Resort has epic views and a seriously magical atmosphere during the fireworks.

If EPCOT fireworks are more your vibe, the EPCOT/BoardWalk area Resorts or Disney’s Riviera Resort can give you a little peek at EPCOT’s nighttime show, depending on where you stand.

But I’ll be honest, there’s nothing like standing on Main Street, U.S.A. with the music swelling and the castle glowing. So if fireworks are a must (and I feel like you’re my kind of person, so they probably are!), I definitely recommend catching them in person at least once during your trip.

Hope your visit is full of sparkle, joy, and those unforgettable fireworks moments that stay with you long after the last burst fades.

Wishing you the most magical Happily Ever After,

    Emille
