Hi, Larry! Welcome to planDisney.
Watching fireworks at Walt Disney World is one of those moments that just never gets old. After a day filled with Disney magic, you can't beat looking up and seeing the night sky come alive with color. It’s like Disney’s way of tucking you in with a kiss goodnight.
When it comes to catching the fireworks from Disney's Port Orleans Resorts (both French Quarter and Riverside), Disney's Pop Century Resort, or
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, the views vary. You're not going to get the same kind of views you would of
Happpily Ever After from California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort or the beach at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. However, you can catch glimpses from Pop Century and Caribbean Beach, especially the higher bursts from EPCOT’s nighttime show,
Luminous: The Symphony of Us.
Having stayed here last year, I think the best views at Caribbean Beach are from the beach areas near the Jamaica and Aruba buildings, and the bridge by the
Fuentes del Morro pool. These are great spots if you're hoping to catch a little sparkle in the sky. Pop Century has a few decent angles too, especially near the Disney Skyliner station. The Port Orleans hotels, though beautiful and serene, are more tucked away and don't really offer fireworks views.
Here’s a fun tip: if you're staying at Caribbean Beach, grab a funk drink from the
Banana Cabana, stroll over to one of those sandy beach spots, and enjoy the show with your toes in the sand.
