What fireworks and parades will be planned for November 8th and 9th? Will there be any Christmas decorations up that weekend?

Hey there, hi there, Jamie! Welcome to planDisney. We love to help Guests get the answers to all their planning questions, so let's get answers for you!

It's exciting to hear that your visit to Disneyland Resort is less than a month away! You'll be in the parks when the resort is transitioning from Halloween to the holidays. The great thing about this is that you will be able to catch some of the 70th Celebration entertainment before it takes a break for the holiday season. This means that you will get to enjoy the Paint the Night parade as well as Wondrous Journeys with fireworks, according to the Daily Events Calendar. You will want to check the calendar again closer to your arrival date to make sure you have the most up-to-date information. I can't be sure of what Christmas decorations will be up, but I'm sure you will start to see the transition. I know that snow is already starting to fall on Sleeping Beauty Castle!

Speaking of the other 70th Celebration entertainment, don't miss Tapestry of Happiness. This is a quick projection show cast on the "it's a small world" facade and is the perfect love letter to Disneyland. It runs multiple times at night, and if you time it right, you can watch this and then stick around for Paint the Night. I really enjoy watching it in this area too.

Jamie, thanks so much for stopping by! See you real soon!

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
