Greetings, Artina, and welcome to planDisney! I'm happy to share some helpful information with you as you plan your quickly approaching visit to Disneyland Resort!
Disneyland Resort recently announced that
Mickey's Mix Magic is back, lighting up Main Street U.S.A. for this high-energy nighttime show, beginning January 8th! On select nights, fireworks may even be added to the party! While there are no traditional parades currently scheduled at Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park during your visit, Artina, there are plenty of live entertainment opportunities that I think you might love.
One that I've really been enjoying lately is
Queenie and the Jambalaya Jazz Band - a vibrant jazz band floating along the Rivers of America! If you love New Orleans jazz tunes (like I do) this is such a fun show and easy to catch a good viewing area anywhere around New Orleans Square. Currently, there is also a short limited-time projection show called The Heartbeat of New Orleans - A Living Mural that typically shows right before or after Queenie and the Jambalaya Jazz Band play, so it's a great way to catch both shows at one time! Be sure to check the
entertainment schedule for all the details on showtimes. You can select the daily view or toggle over to a 5-day view, in case you want to see what might be happening throughout your multi-day visit!
I hope this helps for now, Artina.
2024 is set to be a banner year at Disneyland Resort with so much magic in store for Guests. I hope you and your loved ones make unforgettable memories together in the coming year. If we can help with anything else in the meantime, please feel welcome to come back to
planDisney with any questions that come up.
Blue Skies and Sunshine,
