Can the fireworks at Magic Kingdom be seen outside of the park such as at one the resorts?

Hi Matt!  Watching the Magic Kingdom fireworks inside the park is highly recommended but that isn't always convenient.  You can indeed watch the show from several nearby resorts such as the Grand Floridian and the Contemporary.  The best spot to see the show is from the beach of the Polynesian resort where you have a clear view of the Cinderella Castle.

Another possible viewing spot is from the beach at Fort Wilderness. You are further away and will not see the castle but you have a great spot away from the crowds to watch all the fireworks above the park. They will pipe in the sounds and music so it is a nice relaxing way to enjoy your evening.

Probably the best spot outside of being in the park is from one of the many fireworks cruise boats that will anchor just off shore in the Seven Seas Lagoon. They will have the music piped into the boats and you have a wonderful unobstructed view of the show.  This of course is an extra cost but something that is fun to do for a special occasion during your vacation at Walt Disney World!
