Will there be fireworks in the Magic Kingdom on the nights that are NOT Mickey Christmas Party?

Hello Cindy! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Ending an Endlessly Magical day in Magic Kingdom is extra magical with a nighttime fireworks show. I loved getting to experience a Holiday twist on the traditional Wishes Nighttime Spectacular Fireworks Show when I visited Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party last December.

Unfortunately, Wishes Nighttime Spectacular is scheduled to show for the last night on May 11, 2017. However, the retiring of this Fireworks classic will make room for "Happily Ever After", a brand new nighttime fireworks show that will weave storytelling, Disney characters, special projection effects and of course, fireworks to begin on May 12th, 2017.

When you visit Walt Disney World Resort this winter, the "Happily Ever After" Fireworks Show should run on the nights when Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is not operating.

Please note that all outdoor shows are subject to cancellation due to inclement weather.

The Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace will continue to offer scrumptious snacks and beverage before "Happily Ever After" and you can already book your Advanced Dining Reservations into October (the 180 day mark). This experience offers reserved seating and a relaxed atmosphere to settle in and enjoy some food before the sky explodes in a symphony of lights.

    Enjoy the Show!
