Hello Danette! It’s time to light up the nighttime sky over the Walt Disney World Resort! And YOU will be there for it!
I am happy to share that the
Walt Disney World Resort offers firework spectaculars, in select parks, on just about every night of the year, including during the time that you will be visiting! Let’s check out your options! I’ll also let you know where to find fireworks showtimes!
Magic Kingdom Park offers the nighttime firework show known as
Happily Ever After! The 18-minute-long show occurs nightly. If you click on the link that I provided, you will be taken to the webpage on the Walt Disney World Resort website. When the page opens, click on the date and the little calendar icon. Here you will find the showtimes for specific dates. While January 1 through January 7, 2023, isn’t included on the calendar yet, it will be in the coming weeks! Keep checking that webpage for showtimes!
Heading on over to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you will find my favorite nighttime show…
Fantasmic! Here you will enter the world of Mickey’s imagination! In it, you will find many of your favorite Disney characters, music, waterworks, lasers, and fireworks! This show occurs nightly. You can find showtimes by clicking on the link that I provided for you! This is a very popular show! I suggest arriving early so you can find seating in the outdoor theater! This show has the least amount of fireworks out of all the nighttime shows, but it is Disney entertainment at its finest!
Finally, EPCOT hosts a nightly fireworks show over World Showcase Lagoon! The current show is entitled
EPCOT Forever! However, the
Disney Parks Blog announced some changes will be coming to the EPCOT fireworks show later this year as part of the Disney 100 celebration being hosted at EPCOT! I can’t wait to see the new show during my next visit! Based on the timing of your visit, Danette, you’re probably going to be able to experience the new show as well!
Danette, please note that fireworks schedules are subject to change. Be sure to check the links that I provided for each show for updated times and/or schedule changes.
Happy Planning!
