Hi John!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney! Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just around the corner, so hopefully you've started packing your bags and getting ready to play at the "Most Magical Place on Earth!"
On select evenings in November and December, Magic Kingdom closes at 6:00 p.m. to host
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, a specially ticketed party that features exclusive treats and entertainment throughout the park. The party includes
Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks, an incredible festive nighttime spectacular, and
Disney Enchantment, the regular nightly fireworks show, is not shown on party nights. It sounds like you'll be visiting Magic Kingdom on a party night and unfortunately, if you don't have tickets to the party, you won't be able to remain in the park or re-enter the park for the fireworks. However, you can still enjoy the beautiful display after you exit the theme park if you choose to skip the party.
Several spots around Seven Seas Lagoon offer beautiful views of the fireworks over Magic Kingdom. You can head to
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa or
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort for a nice view of the fireworks. Or some fantastic restaurants offer beautiful views of the show, such as
California Grill and
'Ohana. Finally, you can enjoy the show out on the water on a
private fireworks cruise. This is one of my favorite ways to enjoy the nighttime spectaculars at Magic Kingdom because you'll enjoy the perfect view of the show!
John, let us know if you have any additional questions about enjoying your magical trip. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
