Welcome to planDisney, Lisa! It's so great that you found us and asked your question. Feel free to come back and keep those questions coming!
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort are such a unique place to stay at the
Walt Disney World Resort. While I love the idea of camping, I'm a huge fan of
not camping, so the cabins provide that rustic, outdoorsy feel, without having to
actually camp! I really do love nature...I just also like to have the comforts of home readily accessible!
And now that it has been announced that these cabins will be renovated and become part of
Disney Vacation Club, I'm even more excited about the future of these homes away from home!
While you will certainly be able to
hear the
nighttime spectacular at
Magic Kingdom Park from the cabins, you will not have a view of them. Instead, you may want to head to the beach at the resort as not only will you be able to see some of the fireworks, but they usually pipe in the music from the show so you can hear it. While you will not be able to see all of the fireworks, you'll see enough to catch the joyous spirit and the hopeful message...and the soundtrack to
Happily Ever After is just icing on the cake!
If you haven't already, you may want to look into getting
advanced dining reservations for
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. In my opinion, this dinner show is a must for everyone traveling to the Walt Disney World Resort, but
especially anyone staying at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. It's fun, the food is great, and the entertainment is like no other!
Lisa, have a wonderful January trip to the resort. I really hope you're planning to visit the
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts when it begins on January 12, 2024. It's
such a special festival!
