Are there fireworks on January 13 and 14

Hey there, Hi there, Ho there Darren!

You’re as welcome as can be here at planDisney! It sounds like you’re channeling your inner Simba and you just can’t wait to see those fireworks at The Happiest Place On Earth. You’re off to a roaring start. Taking time to plan out what you most want to see, do, and eat at the resort is as smart as Rafiki when he says, “Look beyond what you see.” Planning ahead ensures your visit will be as smooth as the savanna sunrise.

Darren, as I type this, the Hours & Events Calendar only shows us what is scheduled to appear in the theme parks until the first week of January. Based on my experience, the schedule usually swings into view about six weeks in advance. So, my advice is to channel your inner Zazu and keep swooping back to that calendar over the next few weeks to see what’s on the horizon—beyond the Shadowlands, of course.

I know this wasn’t the news that you were hoping for, Darren, but as Scar so dramatically reminds us, it’s best to “Be Prepared!" So if you have any more questions or need tips for your upcoming journey through the circle of life—er, the Disneyland Resort—just pounce back here, and I’ll be happy to help.

    Long live the King!
