Can you see fireworks form Old Key West? MK or EC?

    Hi Christine,

You are getting closer and closer to your upcoming vacation at Disney's Old Key West Resort! It won't be long now until you are hearing those steel drums and maybe enjoying a tropical drink at the Gurgling Suitcase.

While neither myself or Mona Leigh, the other Disney Vacation Club panelist have ever watched fireworks from Old Key West, Sally, our wonderful Disney Vacation Club panelist from last year certainly did! In fact, Sally answered a guest's question on this topic last year, confirming that you can, in fact, observe some of the higher fireworks from IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth at Epcot from some parts of Old Key West Resort.

While I certainly would not recommend that you plan to specifically watch fireworks from Old Key West Resort since your view (if any) would be highly compromised from this location, if you happen to be at the Resort when IllumiNations is being shown you may want to keep a lookout in the sky for any flashes of light. The fireworks would be coming from the Bonnet Creek Parkway side of the Resort.

Good luck, and wishing you a Magical upcoming vacation at Old Key West!
