    Are fireworks still on every night? We’re going there first week of May 2021!

    A warm welcome to planDisney. Thank you for sending us your awesome question about Fireworks and Nighttime Spectaculars in Walt Disney World Resort.

    Angela, I regret to inform you that as a result of the ongoing pandemic and in an effort to promote physical distancing, all fireworks shows at Walt Disney World Resort are temporarily unavailable. Presently, we do not know when they will resume, but I suggest you keep your eyes and EARS peeled for updates. The Disney Parks Blog and the official experience updates page are great sources for up-to-date Disney news! As a huge fan of fireworks, I am crossing my fingers for an update on nighttime spectaculars soon!

    In the meantime, I encourage you to learn more about the exciting updates happening during the phased reopening of Walt Disney World Resort. There are still so many magical memories to be made in the Most Magical Place on Earth.

    Don’t forget to grab your theme park reservations via the Disney Park Pass system for your May vacation! Theme park reservations are subject to availability and very popular. You will need to have a valid theme park admission ticket or annual pass linked to your My Disney Experience account before you can make a theme park reservation. If you haven’t purchased one yet, you can do so via this link.
