Hi Jamie,
Hello from across North Carolina! When you are at
Disney's Contemporary Resort, if you look in Epcot's direction, and you look at the very tippy top of the trees you can see the top edge of some of the higher fireworks from
Illuminations: Reflections of Earth. Most of that show takes place on World Showcase Lagoon where you can only have a great view if you are inside the park.
On the other hand, the Magic Kingdom's
Wishes Nighttime Spectacular takes place around Cinderella Castle. You can have a lovely view from the Contemporary Resort. There is a large bank of windows facing the Magic Kingdom Park. If you would like a view with the castle in the center of the fireworks, the Magic Kingdom is only a short walk away. While you probably won't be able to see Tinker Bell fly from outside the entrance, you will still have a view of the higher fireworks and will be able to hear the music from the show.
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Be sure to let us know if we can help you with any other questions!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Amy H
