Can you see the fireworks at Disneyland from Downtown Disney?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Carolyn. Thanks for bringing us your question.

My favorite places to enjoy Disneyland Resort fireworks spectaculars are by the Rivers of America or in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle. I have also enjoyed watching fireworks from locations outside Disneyland Park. Whether from our Disneyland Resort Hotel window, the esplanade between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park, or the Downtown Disney District, I always smile when can watch these amazing pyrotechnic shows.

While there are no designated fireworks viewing areas in the Downtown Disney District there are some places where the higher aerial fireworks can be viewed. You may catch a glimpse of the fireworks from the more-open spaces where you can position yourself away from buildings or trees that may obstruct your view. If you'd like a chance to enjoy fireworks from a Downtown Disney District dining location, there are a few options with partial views from patio locations, such as Tortilla Jo's. Catal Restaurant is another great option. I recommend inquiring ahead about the availability of seating in a location with the best possible view. And be sure to the check the entertainment schedule for times. Also, note that fireworks may be postponed or canceled should unfavorable weather conditions occur.

I hope you have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort, Carolyn.
