    Are the Fireworks Dessert Parties still happening? We were thinking about reserving spots but it looks like they don't have any dates available so I didn't know if it was booked up or if they are not doing them. Thank you!

    Welcome to planDisney, Kris! It's always so exciting whenever I see a fellow Texan on this page, I am so happy to help you today! Dessert parties at Walt Disney World Resort were something I had not experienced until my most recent visit, and let me tell, you, I never want to go on vacation again without adding this to my itinerary! There is no better way to end a spectacular day at the parks (in my opinion!) than with some yummy treats, fireworks, and being surrounded by your nearest and dearest! 

    Kris, as part of the Enchanting Extras Collection, Walt Disney World is currently offering several fireworks dessert party options. The first is the Magic Kingdom 50th Fireworks Dessert Parties: Disney Enchantment Pre-Party, Magic Kingdom 50th Fireworks Dessert Parties: Disney Enchantment After-Party, Magic Kingdom 50th Fireworks Dessert Parties: Disney Enchantment Treats & Seats, and the Ferrytale Fireworks: A Sparkling Dessert Cruise. There is also the Celebration at the Top: 50th Flavors & Fireworks at Disney's Contemporary Resort. The last one I mentioned also includes savory appetizers alongside yummy sweets, and is on the rooftop of the Contemporary Resort, providing an incredible view (without the crowd traffic once fireworks are over!). Reservations made in advance are highly recommended for all of the above, and there are several ways to make them. You can call (407) 939-7529, or by going online.
