    Does the 11:50 fireworks on Dec 30th presents a countdown to new year? The park is fully booked on Dec 31 and we are hesitating on goinf on the 30th or risking park hopper on the 31st.

    Welcome to planDisney. It is so exciting that you will be in Walt Disney World Resort for New Year’s Eve! I think it is good luck to welcome the new year with some Disney magic, and the fireworks at Magic Kingdom Park are sure to give you plenty of magic! 

    Richard, the scheduled entertainment is subject to change, but at this time the Hours & Events Calendar for December 30, 2023 lists Fantasy In The Sky Fireworks for 6:30 PM and 11:50 PM. In the past, this nighttime spectacular has included a countdown to the new year with Mickey and friends. In previous years you could also find DJs playing music in various areas of Magic Kingdom Park, which may lead to some dance parties with fellow Guests, Cast Members, or even some characters!

    If you make your way to EPCOT, December 30, 2023 is the final day for the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, and Luminous: The Symphony of Us is currently scheduled for 9:30 PM. Unfortunately, it has not been shared if this fireworks show will include a countdown to the new year.
