I want to see the fireworks from the CA Grill one night and hoping to see the Epcot show from Ohana another night. How do I know what time to make the reservations at each one for?

    Hello, Kathryn,

Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  Viewing the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the California Grill is beyond amazing!  And did you know that if you dine before the fireworks, you can return back to the restaurant to watch them later in the evening? You just need to keep your receipt and report to the check-in desk for the restaurant before the fireworks begin.  However, if you want to plan to dine and watch the fireworks together, you will want to look at the Park Hours at the Magic Kingdom for the day you will be dining to confirm the actual time of the fireworks.  Then, I'd encourage you to make your reservation for an hour before.

To watch the Epcot fireworks, which is currently called Epcot Forever, you won't be able to see them from 'Ohana. You can, however, see them from the following restaurants:

La Cantina de San Angel (counter service; no reservation needed)
    La Hacienda de San Angel
    Monsieur Paul
Rose & Crown Dining Room (Tip: The Epcot Forever Dining Package is the best way to see them at this restaurant)
    Spice Road Table
    Tokyo Dining

I'd be remiss if I didn't also mention the Frozen Ever After Sparkling Dessert Party at Epcot World Showcase for a delicious ending to your day with amazing views of the fireworks.

To make a reservation for dining while watching Epcot Forever, you will want to check the Park Hours for Epcot on the day you will be visiting and try to make your dining reservation an hour beforehand.

Wishing you a magical trip!  Please let us know if we can help with any further questions. -Kara
