Hi there, Hugo! Welcome to planDisney!
Can you believe that one week from today, you'll be at the Walt Disney World Resort? It sounds like you're hoping to add a little sparkle to your magical vacation, and I can't blame you one bit!
When the Walt Disney World Resort reopened last year, many of our most beloved attractions and shows continued to be on hiatus. For now, the nighttime spectaculars at Disney's Hollywood Studios, including
Fantasmic! and
Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular, haven't yet returned. But there is a gorgeous spectacle to
oooh and
ahhh over at the end of your day at Disney's Hollywood Studios! Each night,
The Wonderful World of Animation, a projection show celebrating some of Disney's classic animated films, takes over the facade of the Chinese Theater, the home of
Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway. Looking at the calendar, it looks like it's scheduled for 9:00 p.m. every night next week, so be sure to add it to your plans!
Hugo, you'll also be able to catch one of the final showings of
Happily Ever After at the Magic Kingdom Park and
EPCOT Forever before both shows end their respective runs at the end of September. But not to worry, the skies won't be dark for long.
Two brand new nighttime spectaculars are set to begin on October 1, just in time for the
50th Anniversary of the Most Magical Place on Earth!
I hope this helps you plan an amazing end to your Disney days, Hugo. Have a wonderful vacation, and please stop by and see your planDisney pals again real soon!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
