Are there firework shows at all the theme parks?

Hi Tracy! Welcome to planDisney, where there's no mountain too great for us to climb to find the answers to your Disney planning questions.

Once upon a time, there was a Guest at the Walt Disney World Resort named Matt N. from NJ. This Guest went from park open to park close at each of the theme parks to ride all the rides. He didn't stop to enjoy shows. He didn't often sit down to eat at table service restaurants. He didn't take the time to shop. Instead, it was rides, rides, rides...and when everyone else was watching parades and nighttime spectaculars, he rode even more rides.

Then one day he stopped to watch the nighttime spectacular at his favorite park, Magic Kingdom Park. Matt was blown away by the storytelling, the music, the artistry, and the awe-inspiring spectacle of it all. Now, on each vacation, he makes sure to make the time to watch these fantastical shows that are the perfect ending to a perfect Disney day.

At this time, 3 of the 4 theme parks have nighttime spectaculars. My favorite is Happily Ever After with its fireworks and projections on Cinderella Castle and Main Street, U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom Park.  There's also EPCOT Forever at, you guessed it, EPCOT, which is a celebration of that park's history with fireworks and laser effects in the middle of World Showcase Lagoon. And while the two shows at Disney's Hollywood Studios aren't technically fireworks shows, they are definitely worth checking out, especially Fantasmic! with its amazing effects, stunts, and pyrotechnics. The park's other show is the Wonderful World of Animation with projections on the Chinese Theater.

While Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park does not currently have a nighttime spectacular and will likely never have fireworks due to the animal residents of the park, it does have some pretty amazing entertainment. Finding Nemo: The Big Blue...and Beyond! is a musical stage show inspired by Finding Nemo and the Festival of the Lion King is a fun-filled show celebrating the classic film The Lion King!

But all of this is just scratching the surface when it comes to the entertainment in and around the parks. And that's what's so exciting! You just never know what surprises are waiting for you.

I hope you have a spectacular visit to the resort. Please reach out to me if you have any other questions!

    Enjoy the shows,
    Matt

P.S. The Matt in my story is me. Don't be like the old Matt. Be like the new Matt! He's also magically younger too.
