Hi, The firework in magic kingdom will start after the park close on nov 21. Can I stay in the park to watch the fireworks? Or I need to buy another ticket to watch the fireworks?

Hey Howdy Hey Jy and welcome to planDisney!

While there is never a bad to time visit the Walt Disney World Resort, visiting during the Holiday season will be full of Magical experiences that you cannot get during any other time of the year. The parks will be full of Holiday cheer and dressed up to match as well as most of the resorts with their own special flare for the season. One of the bigger celebrations will be happening in Magic Kingdom on select nights which may impact your days in the parks. Let's go over the details of experiences you may have.

Specifically on November 21st, Mickey's Verry Merry Christmas Party will be happening that evening in Magic Kingdom. As you mentioned, the parks will close at 6:00 PM EST that evening and the party begins at 7:00 PM. This party is a separately ticketed event and you will need a ticket for the party to attend. During the party, the fireworks will be changed from Happily Ever After to Minnie's Wonderful Christmas Fireworks Show which will happen at 10:00 PM weather permitting. If you did not want to purchase tickets but still wanted to see the show, there are great places to view from outside of the parks.

When the park closes for the evening, you can feel free to hop aboard the highway in the sky on the Walt Disney World Monorail and take a trip to visit the Magic Kingdom resorts. Feel free to walk the grounds, and enjoy the dining and shopping offerings as there are many unique to each resort. As the time nears for the fireworks, make your way to a water view of Seven Seas Lagoon which will point towards Magic Kingdom. My favorite place to watch the fireworks in Magic Kingdom is from the beaches at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. The view is spectacular and the music is piped in for the ultimate experience.

You might want to consider attending the Holiday celebration that evening for an extra boost of the Holiday spirit. If not, I do hope you now have a place to check out the fireworks in Magic Kingdom that evening. Please let us know if you have any other questions, we are always happy to help!
