Can we see the firework when eating dinner anywhere at the contemporary dining grill ? Where is the best spot to sit or be to see fireworks when in a restaurant ? ? Traveling with 6 year old

    Hi Peggy,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question about one of my absolute favourite restaurants, both inside and outside of Walt Disney World: California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort! We’ve dined there many times with our little guy (who is now 5) and we’ve always had a wonderful time. You’re in for a real treat!

Although every table in the restaurant has a wonderful view of Walt Disney World Resort, there are some tables that don’t have a view of Magic Kingdom Park, which means that you can’t see shows like Happily Ever After from those tables.

However, if the restaurant isn’t able to accommodate your request to have a table in one of those sections, you can still head out to the observation deck in order to see the show. In fact, my little guy has often asked us to go outside during the fireworks, even when our table had a great view of Magic Kingdom Park. It’s the best way to have an unobstructed and glare-free view of the show.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and visit us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
