Are there fire pits in the tent camp sites at Fort Wilderness?

    Hi there, Gustavo!

Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for stopping by as you prepare for your adventure to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. I'd be happy to answer your burning question!

No fire pits are provided at The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. However, you can bring your own contained campfire unit if it meets the safety requirements. Your fire must be completely caged to prevent exposed flames, flying embers, or sparks and have a solid metal top. Picture something more like a mini-oven with a door rather than a pit-style fire device with an open top. If you plan to bring a unit, I recommend showing it to a front desk Cast Member upon arrival to be sure it is permitted.

As a fun and convenient alternative, consider attending Chip 'n' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long during your stay. This delightful nightly program features songs, s'mores, and hugs from your favorite mischievous chipmunk pals. After sunset, cozy up for a movie under the stars.

I hope this is helpful, Gustavo! Best wishes for an unforgettable vacation. Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort is a hidden gem, and I know you'll have a fabulous stay in this serene outpost. Thanks again for visiting planDisney, and we look forward to welcoming you home soon!

    Happy holidays,
