I just finished my first runDisney event. I loved it and hope to return for the Tower of Terror run weekend with my kids. Can you tell me what to expect during the kids' races? Will there be activities for them to enjoy after the race is over? Thanks!

    Hi there, Andrea!

I am so excited to hear you had such a great experience with your first runDisney event that you're already planning your next one!

With regard to activities following the Kids' Races during the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™ 10-miler Weekend, there are usually additional things to do. For Example, there will be a few games available where your child can complete a simple activity and receive a small prize. There will also be music and dancing for the children to help get them warmed-up and ready to race. In general, it's definitely a fun environment for them and you won't be disappointed in your decision to allow them to participate. Nothing beats the pride on the little ones faces as they wear their Finisher Medallions around the theme parks- just like mom.

The runDisney Kids' Races for this weekend are held at the New Balance Track & Field Complex, located at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, making it a great venue for your children to participate in their first event. I hope this information is helpful, Andrea! Please do not hesitate to ask any additional questions you may have as you plan and prepare to run 'till you drop!

Have fun running in the 5th dimension!
