Hey howdy hey Jessie and welcome to planDisney!
I bet you are starting to get super excited for your trip later this summer! Getting things like your hotel reservation booked,
Theme Park reservations secured and paying off the vacation are all big milestones that should be celebrated. Depending on your specific vacation bookings, that will determine when to make payments and the due dates for final payments so let's look at a few options.
If you booked a
vacation package to Walt Disney World Resort, including reservations at a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel and Theme Park Tickets, you were required to put a deposit of $200.00 down to secure this booking. The due date for final payments is not until 30 days prior to your arrival, so you have some time before this is due. If you did want to pay on your vacation prior to the 30 days, you are more than welcome to and can get this done from your
My Disney Experience account. After you log on, go to the "My Plans" section. Highlight the "Resort Hotel" or scroll to the "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" and you should see an option to make a payment on your vacation. Follow the prompts and you are all set! You are able to pay the full total due or you can make monthly payments until the final payment due date.
This process is a little different if you booked a
room-only reservation. With this booking, you are required to put a deposit down equal to the first-night stay plus tax. This total you will see in the same place on your My Disney Experience account under "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" however the due date is at check-in to your resort hotel. You are not able to make payments on this booking.
One thing to keep an eye on going forward is any news on the
EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival. This festival celebrates the food and flavors of the season, seasonal drinks as well as entertainment throughout EPCOT and is one of the more popular ones that my family and I enjoy. So many food and drink offerings throughout the park, you should have a designated day to try a little bit of everything! I hope you enjoy the next few months of planning for your trip as this can be such a fun experience. If you have any further questions let us know, we love talking about all things Walt Disney World Resort!
Happy planning,
Nick
