Welcome BACK, Wayne!!
It's so good to see you again hEAR at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, asking another terrific Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question! Thank you for thinking of us time and time again.
This is a great question because what you're finding (well, not finding) is another result of the current closure of Walt Disney World Resort. I have a feeling that once the parks, resort hotels and
dining locations reopen, and the first few rounds of guests start to
return to a world of magic, that this information will be made available again on the website and in the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. I'm hopeful these will be posted before you're able to start making dining reservations for your visit to Mickey's house, Wayne, which will be
60 days in advance of your first Disney day. When the operating hours for each individual dining location do return online, you'll be able to find them on that location's information page (I'm linking the page to one of my favorites,
Earl of Sandwich, as an example) in the space just above the map and right below the 'View Menu' link.
In the mean time, so you can have something to go by, meals in the various
Disney Dining Locations usually serve Breakfast up until 11:00 A.M, Lunch starts at 11:00 A.M. and the switch to Dinner is around 5:00 P.M.
There are of course outliers to this. Some table-service locations that host all three meals have a 15 or 30 minute break between the different services, so their lunch hours are 11:15 A.M until 4:45 P.M. Or, some dining locations only feature breakfast and dinner with no lunch service, so their dinner reservations may start as early as 4:30 P.M. I'm a huge fan of brunch (breakfast food without having to get up early, heck yes!) and I've found that there are locations that either extend their breakfast bookings to the mid afternoon or they host this fourth-meal until 1 or 2:00 P.M., which still allows plenty of time for their dinner to start on the early side. To figure out which restaurants might do what and when, click on the 'View Menu' tab on each location's information page, and once on the actual menu, click the 'Meal Period' drop-down button. As examples,
'Ohana and
Topolino's Terrace are breakfast and dinner only locations,
Whispering Canyon Cafe serves three meals a day, and
Trail's End Restaurant has a brunch-specific meal time, but only on weekends.
I hope that this helped to clEAR things up a bit, Wayne. I'll cross my fingers and toes that you're able to keep your trip as planned, and if you have any more Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning questions, We're All Ears!
