My fingerprint is used for my son’s ticket. Will this be an issue if he goes to Disney with a different adult without me present?

Hi Amy! How excited is your son knowing he will be at Walt Disney World Resort in a few short days? Yippee!

I'm so glad you are being so proactive and taking care of this now. I chatted with a couple of Cast Members and was given some valuable information.

Prior to entering the theme parks, have your son and the adult he is with visit Guest Relations and ask the Cast Member to reset it to the new fingerprint. Additional information may be needed from the adult your son is with. If the Guest going with your son has the same last name and can provide proof, the new Guest and your son should be fine at Guest Relations. If the adult does not have the same last name, you may be required to be there. New biometrics will be set at Guest Relations before they enter the theme park. The biometric should be your son's fingerprint.

I highly recommend you call the My Disney Experience, MagicBands and FastPass+ help desk at (407) 939-4357 before everyone arrives at Walt Disney World Resort. Explain your situation to a Cast Member so they can review your son's account and provide you with further information.

Thanks so much for sharing your question with the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I wish everyone in the traveling party a very magical vacation!
