The fine print says the annual passholder dining discount applies to the passholder and up to 3 guests. I'll be dining at Disney Springs with my husband, 2 yr old, and my sister and her husband and their 3 kids. How will the discount work?

    Hiya, Kristen!

Thanks so much for stopping by with another great Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney! I'm so excited to hear that your club of Mouseketeers will be visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth in just a couple of months. Oh boy - are you counting down the days!?

As an Annual Passholder, you're entitled to special benefits and discounts on merchandise and dining at select participating locations throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. Kristen, you're correct - discounts on dining are restricted to Annual Passholders and up to three additional Guests. I recommend speaking with your server when you arrive at the restaurant to determine how bills will be split and discounts applied. If you'll be the only Annual Passholder dining in your group of eight and you'll all be on the same bill, your discount will likely only apply to your meal and three others, but will not be applied to the entire group. However, the implementation of discounts can vary between dining locations, so I encourage you to speak with your server for location-specific details. To apply your Annual Passholder discount, your server will likely need to verify your affiliation, so you may be asked to show your Passholder ID and a government-issued photo ID.

Kristen, did you know that Annual Passholders also receive discounts on special events, like Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party? This spooky annual event takes place at Magic Kingdom Park on select evenings in the fall, offering a chilling Halloween-themed parade, special fireworks spectacular, and reduced theme park capacity! My family loves seeing our favorite Disney Characters in their Halloween costumes. Guests can even trick-or-treat around Magic Kingdom Park - how sweet is that!?

I hope you've found this information helpful, Kristen. I'm wishing you and your family members a magical and memorable visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! If you have any additional planning questions ahead of your visit, please feel free to swing back by planDisney again anytime. We're all ears!

    See ya real soon,
