how do i find a travel agent to plan my trip to disney world

    Greetings from planDisney, Sophia!

I am absolutely delighted to hear that you are beginning to plan a Walt Disney World vacation. There is so much magic to experience across the four theme parks. Classic attractions like Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean at Magic Kingdom Park and high-speed thrills like Test Track and Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith are on the must-do experience list. There are countless dining options at Disney Springs, and festivals throughout the year at EPCOT. And of course, there are more than 25 Walt Disney World Resort Collection hotels to choose from. I have stayed in eight of these fabulous resorts, and I have a difficult time deciding where to stay each time. They are each so unique and have so much Disney Magic to offer.

Phew, Sophia! I could chat about all there is to see and do all day. I can absolutely see why you may want the support of a travel agent to get started. My personal recommendation when looking for anyone in the service industry is to use word of mouth as my primary search source. Do you have a family member or friend that has recently traveled to The Most Magical Place on Earth? Or are you part of a travel group online that features a recommended agent? This is where I would start.

Sophia, you can also plan your fabulous Walt Disney World vacation package directly with Disney. I do this often and it is super simple and takes less time than you may think. All you need to get started are your travel dates and your budget. Next, spend some time browsing through the Disney Resort hotel options and pick your favorite. I personally think this is the most difficult part because as I previously mentioned, they are all wonderful. You can build and book your package online, or speak with a Cast Member. Booking with a Cast Member over the phone will give you the ability to ask questions as you go and receive personalized recommendations. They will also be able to guide you through any Special Offers that may apply to your upcoming stay.

There are a lot of pros to working with an agent or booking directly. The biggest for both options is that you're coming to Walt Disney World! Yeah! I have done both on multiple occasions, and find it really comes down to preference and time. If you're a hands-on planner booking directly gives you the ability to make immediate changes and real-time decisions. When booking with an agent they will need to make trip modifications for you, which can mean some wait time for requests. Prefer a hands-off planning experience? Definitely go with a travel agent. An experienced travel professional can take care of all the details so that you can show up and enjoy the magic without planning out the specifics.

Whichever route you choose, I know that your vacation will be magical.
I hope that we see ya real soon!
