How can I find a travel agent that directly works for Disney to help plan my Disney World vacation?

    Hi Rebecca!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so glad that you found us hEAR. One of the great things about a vacation to The Most Magical Place on Earth is that there are so many great resources to turn to when planning your visit. However, I completely understand that all of these resources can sometimes seem like too much help, especially if this is your first time to Mickey's house or if you haven't been in a while.

Disney does have a program where they train independent travel agents from all over to become "Authorized Disney Vacation Planners" in their home markets; however, none of these agents actually work for the Disney company. You can find these magical helpers through a Google search, or some hosts of Disney fan sites and blogs are also travel agents. But I recommend asking around in your circles of friends and family as I guarantee you that someone at your office, your child's school or sports team, even in your neighborhood homeowners association has a Disney planner that they've personally used and can recommend. Pro Tip: Ask the planner if they also assist in booking your dining options and FastPass+ selections. Authorized planners are only required to help with your Disney Resort Hotel reservations and ticket options, but most do aid beyond just those two vacation facets.

The good news is that no matter if you use a travel agent for some or all of your vacation factors, or if you decide to plan every single detail on your own, the Disney Parks Moms Panel will be here every step you take. In addition to searching through our most recently answered questions from other guests or combing through specific topics like the Disney Dining Plan, we have an entire video library of so many topics. Another great resource is the Disney Parks Blog. This is like the official news location of all things Walt Disney World, from new attractions and snacks to what-you-can't-miss this month, all basically from Mickey himself. You'll be a pro in no time, Rebecca!

I hope this helped to get your Walt Disney World Resort vacation plans into gEAR, Rebecca, and if you have any more questions from suggestions of dining options for your family to "how does __ work?", We're All Ears!
