Hello, Tara,
Welcome back to planDisney! Thanks for continuing to trust us to provide advice for making your Disneyland Resort vacation as magical as possible.
It sounds like you have your reservation properly in place for your upcoming
Disneyland Resort guided tour. As long as you also have the necessary
theme park tickets and
theme park reservations to Disneyland Park, I’d say that everything is “
practically perfect in every way.”
You can think of your tour reservation as being similar to a dining reservation. You should see it listed on the
My Plans page online or the Future Plans screen of the
Disneyland mobile app. And the Cast Members at the check-in booth will have a list of Guests booked for the tour as well. As long as you have your prepaid reservation, you don’t need separate tickets for the tour. But you will be given a lanyard and credentials when you check in. When you arrive to check in, I recommend having a photo ID so the Cast Members can verify you are the one who booked the experience.
My family booked
Walt's Main Street Story Tour not long after it was first offered. My wife and I had taken similar tours previously. But this time, we wanted our children to have the same special experience of a visit to
Walt Disney’s apartment over the Main Street Fire Station. I think you’ll feel just as awed as we did as we literally walked
where Walt walked. We felt like VIPs as we were guided to various points of interest around
Main Street, U.S.A. and, especially, into
Walt and Lillian’s private apartment.
I hope you enjoy your time seeing
Disneyland through Walt’s eyes, Tara. And if you are interested in more of the perspective and advice of planDisney Panelists, I hope you’ll send any more questions you may have as you finalize your plans to visit The Happiest Place on Earth!
