Ahoy there, Desiree! Your
3-Night Bahamian Cruise will be here before you know it, so I’m thrilled you sailed by planDisney with your question.
On night two of your cruise, you can expect to party like a pirate with your fellow scalawags on the ship. Once you depart from
Lighthouse Point, look in your stateroom for a pirate-themed bandana for each member of your travel party. Even your dinner will be sprinkled with flavors from the Caribbean.
And don’t worry, no matter what time you’re scheduled for rotational dining, the
“Pirates in the Caribbean” show and deck party doesn’t kick off until everyone has had a chance to eat and watch the evening’s show in the Walt Disney Theatre. Once you’re done, head up to Deck 9 to participate in all the festive fun. Many Guests also choose to dress in pirate garb for the evening. My favorite ensemble is pairing a white shirt with black pants and red shoes (and of course, the bandana mentioned above). Sometimes I’ll even throw on a festive vest or corset.
Want another tip? My family prefers to watch the show from
Deck 10 on the
Disney Dream so we also have a great view of the fireworks over the sea after the show (weather permitting, of course). I also like to bring glow sticks for my kids and other kids around us - think of it as sprinkling a little pirate Pixie Dust!
While there are not any other theme nights scheduled for your specific sailing, you’ll find many Guests choosing to dress up for their own Formal Night at Royal Palace (or by booking a separate reservation at
Palo). You might also decide to wear matching t-shirts for embarkation day or dress as your favorite Disney Pal for one of the many
Character Greetings you’ll find scheduled during your adventure at sea.
There is no limit when it comes to the amount of dreaming you can do and magic you can create when onboard a Disney Cruise. If you think of any more questions or need additional help before your trip, don’t hesitate to head back to us here at
planDisney.
Bon voyage,
Sami
