Ahoy there, Cathy, and welcome to planDisney! I am so glad you sailed by with this question because packing for theme nights is one of my favorite pre-cruise activities.
Based on your
March 25, 2026, sailing on the Disney Magic out of Galveston, it looks like you can expect a little extra Pixie Dust on two evenings. Night 2, after your first full day at sea, is your Optional Dress Up night. That is the perfect evening to pack something that makes you feel fabulous. Since we don't typically see a Formal or Semi-Formal dress code on four-night sailings, this will be your time to sparkle and shine!
Then get ready to join your fellow scalawags for some swashbuckling fun on Night 3, because that is your
Pirate Night. Weather permitting, you and your jolly crew will also enjoy fireworks at sea, along with all the festive deck party fun that comes with it. Many Guests love leaning all the way into the theme, but you are always welcome to be as casual or as costumed as you like.
Once you board and connect to the free DCL-GUEST WiFi, your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app will show your full schedule, including dining rotations and all the entertainment details for your voyage. Make sure you download it before embarkation day so the moment you step on the ship, everything you need is right at your fingertips.
Cathy, I hope this helps you finalize that packing list with confidence. If any other questions pop up, I hope you will sail back to us here at
planDisney.
SEA ya real soon,
Sami
