where can I find a template for the disney destiny room number plaque

    Welcome to planDisney, Tracy,

My family loves to decorate our stateroom door when we sail with the Disney Cruise Line too! In fact, just this week, we received some new seasonal magnets to use during our upcoming Halloween on the High Seas cruise.

According to Cast Members with Disney Cruise Line, the stateroom number plaques on the Disney Destiny cruise ship are approximately 4 inches tall and about 9 inches wide. The doors on most standard staterooms are about 77 inches tall and about 28 inches wide. By my measurements, the rectangular panel on which the stateroom number plaque is placed is about 22½ inches tall and about 12¾ inches wide. The number plaque is placed a little less than 2 inches below the top of that, which is a little less than 2 inches above the door's peephole. The number plaque is a beautiful oblong gem shape, mostly flat along the top and bottom, and angled to a point on either side.

Tony's Tip: Some of my family's favorite activities onboard the Disney Cruise Line are animation classes, trivia, and crafts. We also like to take it easy while we are on vacation and not rush things so much. To help with that, we pack a small crafting kit, including markers, crayons, glue, and safety scissors. So even if we don't finish up a particular art project at one of the scheduled activities, we can more easily finish up the artwork later in our stateroom using our own supplies. A pair of safety scissors like what is in our crafting kit might come in handy for your stateroom decorations too. I recommend designing in a little extra margin on your decorative magnets and then trimming the edges to your satisfaction to work around the permanent features of the door.

Have a magical time on your cruise, Tracy!
