    Where do you find the surrey rentals at the Wilderness Lodge? What's the cost and rental times? We want to take the boat over from BLT and spend an afternoon at WL. Also, does the resort have a decent playground? Thanks so much!!

    Hi Sharon!

    Spending time visitng the Wilderness Lodge is one of our favorite things to do!  It is our Disney Vacation Club "Home Resort", so we've had the privilege of staying many times.  However, we love it so much that we find ourselves visiting it on most Disney vacations, even when we're staying at another Disney Resort!

    The surrey rentals at the Wilderness Lodge are located at Teton Boat and Bike Rentals.  It is located near the beach close to the Wilderness Lodge Villas Hidden Springs Pool.  You can rent bikes and surreys from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.  If you are a Disney Vacation Club Member, be sure to show them your membership card for a discount.

    There is a playground also located near Teton Boat and Bike Rentals, near the beach/marina.  You will also find a Nature Trail for exploring, along with Silver Creek Falls and Fire Rock Geyser, which goes off every now and then, a great picture spot if you happen to be there at the right moment!

    Be sure to explore the lobby of Wilderness Lodge, which is absolutely spectacular!  The children may also enjoy "Buttons and Bells Arcade" while you do some shopping in the Wilderness Lodge Mercantile.

    If you are hungry, be sure to check out one of our favorite Disney Restaurants, Whispering Canyon Cafe.  The food is delicious, served family style, and you'll be sure to be "entertained" as well!  I recommend you call ahead for Advanced Dining Reservations:  (407) WDW-DINE.
