Hi Rachel,
Are you excited about a stay at
The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort? I sure would be. There's so much to see and do there. (I love the
archery and
Segway lessons they offer. And who doesn't like to make
s'mores with your favorite chipmunks?) Meanwhile you're just a delightful boat ride away from Magic Kingdom Park. It really is the best of both worlds.
If you do online check-in through your
My Disney Experience account before your vacation begins, you will receive a text or email notifying you of the specific campsite you have been assigned on the morning of your arrival. If you prefer to be there in person to check in at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, you will receive your campsite information at the Front Desk.
While you are there, be sure to enjoy some fried chicken at
Trail's End Restaurant. It's so tasty! You might want to consider renting bikes at the
Bike Barn, too. I love to bike the rustic trail between The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Disney's Wilderness Lodge.
Wishing you many magical memories,
Jill
