The best way to scope out what’s happening at the parks is by visiting the
Hours & Events Calendar at Disneyland.com. From the main page, hover over “Tickets & Parks,” then click on “See All Hours & Entertainment Schedule.” Click the calendar icon just below the date, then find the date you’re looking for. If there is a special event, it will be listed, along with park hours and even the schedule for the various shows that will take place at the parks that day.
Searching for this info from your
Disneyland Mobile App is also a cinch. From the home screen, scroll down just past “Upcoming plans,” where you can select the Disneyland or DCA icons for park hours. There is a button in the bottom right corner of that section labeled “All hours.” That will take you to a screen that will allow you to pick a date and see what special events, park hours, and shows are scheduled for your date.
Another way to keep track of special events is by keeping up with the
Disney Parks Blog. This awesome read will help you keep an eye on all of the fun
festivals, Disneyland After Dark events, attraction openings, foodie guides, and
merch merch merch! Disney California is celebrating the Year of the Horse with their
Lunar New Year Celebration now through February 22.
I love this festival for all the amazing decorations, cool characters, and tasty Asian inspired dishes. And not long after that, the
California Adventure Food & Wine Festival begins on March 6th. There’s so much to look forward to - especially the tasty food at these two awesome festivals.
