Please pass my wishes for the happiest ever birthday celebration along to your grand-princess, Brenda. It's my pleasure to help you plan a fabulous and festive day. Let's dig right in, shall we?
As luck would have it, a very popular character breakfast will resume service prior to your arrival and your granddaughter is at the perfect age to enjoy it.
The Disney Junior Play n' Dine Breakfast puts fun front and center while dishing up fan favorites like caramel monkey bread and mini muffins. During your meal, the stars of Disney Junior engage Guests in high-energy antics as they parade through the dining room. I can tell you that my own almost six-year-old granddaughter absolutely adores the Disney Junior characters; I bet your granddaughter will, too. In order to reserve this experience (which takes place at Hollywood & Vine in
Disney's Hollywood Studios), you'll need a valid park reservation for the same day you want to dine. Definitely consider this as your extra special meal occasion. And while you're in the park, do be sure to visit
Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway. It's a delightful attraction!
As for special activities, what about a
pony ride? This is one of the best values for little ones on Disney property, if you ask me. Or maybe an
Amphicars ride from The BOATHOUSE at Disney Springs would be a great option. While you're at Disney Springs, stop in at
Goofy's Candy Company to allow the birthday girl to choose a special treat.
I also want to pass along a tip that may help you secure the
dining reservations you're after. As you're seeking availability, choosing a time frame rather than a specific time may yield more options for your party size. What I mean by that is to search for "breakfast" instead of searching a time of 9:00 am. Of course, if you have flexibility to dine during off times, you will definitely have more luck in your search, too.
I sure hope you all have an unforgettable vacation, Brenda!
