Jambo, Jennifer! Welcome to planDisney!
Disney's Animal Kingdom Park is definitely where the wild things are! From spotting giraffes on
Kilimanjaro Safaris to boarding a banshee on
Avatar Flight of Passage, it's always a "roaring" good time.
It's super easy to purchase 1-Day tickets to the Walt Disney World Resort online. Just
go to the Tickets page and choose the 1-Day option. When you buy them, you only have to designate which day you plan to visit - your ticket is good for admission to any single Theme Park that day. So, if you change your mind and decide a tour around the World at
EPCOT fits your mood instead, you can do that! You'd need to change your Disney Park Pass reservation first, but your ticket can take you anywhere.
Speaking of the
Disney Park Pass system, Spring Break has surely sprung at the Walt Disney World Resort, making reservations hard to come by right now. I've been checking the
Availability Calendar daily for the past couple of weeks, and all of the Theme Parks are completely booked until after Easter. At the moment, we've had no word from Disney on increasing capacity anytime soon. I'd expect them to keep things as they are for now in the interest of safety for Guests and Cast Members. But do keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for any updates!
Jennifer, for now I'd say your best bet is to plan a visit sometime in late April or May. After Spring Break and Easter visitors head back home, the Theme Parks will be much quieter and Disney Park Pass availability will be better.
I hope this helps you make plans to visit Walt Disney World at the perfect time for you, Jennifer. And please come back and see us again if you have any more questions. We always love to help, and I'm not
"lion"!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
