Hello again Johannah, it's always great to have you here at planDisney!
Being able to plan for your theme park days in advance can be very key, especially when you're wrangling a number of kids throughout the day ahead of the
entertainment offerings like parades and showtimes where snagging a great spot is important for your group. Going into each day with a game plan is something I highly value, and I've definitely observed the different between families with a little more foresight compared to those who aren't quite as prepared!
The first place to look is the
Hours & Event Calendar which is typically updated around two months ahead (though may always be subject to change without prior notice). Here, you'll also see the times for the major parades and nighttime spectaculars listed, but for specific daytime shows like
Festival of the Lion King,
Indiana Jones™ Epic Stunt Spectacular! or
Mickey's Magical Friendship Faire you'll want to check these individually online or using the
My Disney Experience app. Generally speaking, many shows or parades have a tendency to take place around the same time, but this does change throughout the year with shorter days and especially when
Special ticketed events take place in the evenings.
Since you're right about at that two-month mark, I highly recommend checking often over the next week or so as the calendars update and
keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for updates leading up to your trip. Hope to see you back here at planDisney again for more of your questions!
Here's hoping you all get to experience some excellent entertainment when you get here!
